Jack Frost costumeby ~Orochimarisu

What better to show some work than a Paint collage, right?
This is the hoodie, paintwork on the trousers and staff I made for Jack Frost. Am I actually going to crossplay Jack Frost? No, not at all, these are all done a while back btw, just figured I've never updated them before. I started these out of boredom. Of course the hoodie is now fully painted, sleeves included, and the paintjob on the the trousers was not finished (as is obviously the other leg not done at all) It will give you a nice idea how it all looks. I hope to have photos with the Jack Frost soon! (As my Pitch is as good as finished, that wig still needs work! *grmbl*)

Excellent job! May I ask how you made the staff? My 11 year old daughter wants to go as Jack for Halloween and I am trying to get ideas on how to get the costume as realistic for her as possible.

Thank you, the staff is incredible easy but timeconsuming to make. I bought a 2.5cm wide staff, measured the staff/height Jack ratio and sawed that the staff in pieces. Taping the pieces together, I then screwed them, so it'd be sturdy, then used plaster and tape to shape it a little more. Using a gluegun (and PLENTY of gluesticks) I made the wood-like exterior. I painted everything black as a basecoat, then gradually used browns and lighter browns to get the look I wanted. Finished it with a pearlescent paint to give it the 'ice' look it has.

Yeah I should hope so! 8D I can't wait to go all RotG again. I mean last time was fun, but none o us was really ready and we ended up just sleighing! XD (and making ridiculous gifs as a result! XD)
