Apple of Eden by Orochimarisu Apple of Eden by Orochimarisu
Soooo... I had the stuff to make this lying around for a while now, and as my parents have friends over, they don't want me go wild on the sewing machine... so I went nuts with this!

Made in less then 2 hours, it glows, but I'm thinking of putting a gloss layer over it, to give it more shine, but I remember the Apple to be matte. So yeah~!

I might actually make the lights dim and flash up, but that's for the future...

FYEAH, I HAVE AN APPLE~! *nods at the apple and people die*

Apple of Eden is from the game Assassin's Creed by Ubisoft

Edit: I just had the crazy idea to make small ones for in the Christmas tree, but then I thought of how mean that would be for Des and the team. They're looking for them and I'd have them hanging in my tree! XD

I would have no problem sending the materials to you, but the shipping would make it more expensive than if you'd buy it there! I wasn't aware Denmark is expensive, craft-supplies-wise?

hi!! your job and you are totally amazing and creative!!!!
i have a question while you 're crafting the apple, when you 're painting it with the cloth and using gold and black colours you paint all the apple or just the foam??

Mostly the foam! The ridges should be darker then the surface, anyway! ^_^ Thank you for your kind words and I hope this helps you!

What are the materials you used on that if I may ask, I am getting an Altair cosplay together and would like to make one of these awesome apples.

It's basically one of those clear plastic balls, covered with foam. I used battery powered christmas lights on the inside... it's not that hard to make! ^_^ Good luck with your Altair!

how did you create it so that the ball isn't always lit up? Is there a switch on the outside that shuts off the light or..?

It can open, and the battery pack is inside! Next time I'm making one, the battery pack will be places so there's a switch on the outside!

These plastic balls are made to be opened and closed, no hinge just pressing them together! If I still had it I would open it up and show you, but I gave it away as a gift to *S-Seith

Sure no prob!

You know plastic see through balls you see everywhere in craft stores because they're mainly used with christmas?
That and craft foam, glued it all on, spraypainted it black but used nail polish remover (but any kind of acetone would work) to partly remove the paint in the grooves.
I bought some of those christmas lights on battery pack, glued that in.
Then used gold pain to dry brush the outside, and voila, your own Apple of Eden!

Goooood luck!
